Pure Bliss

I was craving for ice cream so I went to the nearest 7/11 outlet and found myself torn between Selecta Queso Real and the Selecta Gold Series Hazelnut Brownie.

Finally, I made a choice. I have tried the other flavors from the Selecta Gold Series- Berry Strawberry, Vanilla Almond and Chocolate Truffles but this is my number one pick.

A creation of Chef Sau del Rosario of Chelsea Market and Café, this premium treat is a mixture of ground hazelnut paste and rich chocolate ice cream laden with moist fudge brownies.

I finished it in one sitting. Yes, in one sitting! I like it because it is creamy and not too sweet. The moist brownie bits taste so good and add an enjoyable texture to the ice cream. The decadent and luxurious chocolate flavor is just self-indulgent. I cannot stop myself from getting another scoop!

Craving now? It’s only P124 for the 465-ml pint. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Sweet Smell of Milk

My Mama, Ate and I shopped for these A Bonne products on our Marquee mall visit last weekend. 

I swear by A Bonne Hair Spa; it's absolutely effective in conditioning my hair. I have been using it for five years already. I really love how it makes my hair soft and smooth after use. I bought the 500-gram for P179.75. I use it as my daily conditioner. My hair smells so good all day long.

Mama bought the Spa Milk Salt after seeing Ate and I use it regularly. She said she needed to relieve her skin from dryness due to laundry detergent.

At least twice a week I use this milk salt along with Johnson's milk bath. Just imagine how good the scent is! It really scrapes off dry skin and leaves it baby smooth. Two bottles cost only P119.50 and there's a free 70-gram pack with every purchase.

Since Mama's favorite lotion is not available in the department store, she decided to buy the A Bonne whitening lotion. It's P79.75 only and there's another freebie with it.

I haven't really used this so I can't attest if it's good enough. I remember I just asked Ate for a small amount when I ran out of lotion. It's lightweight and smells good too.

Oh No Mischa!

Watching Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) makes me envious of those high cheekbones and protruding collarbone.  During my spare time I watch DVDs of the American teen drama series and find myself crushing on Mischa’s divine face and skinny body.

Until early this year reports revealed Mischa’s dramatic weight gain.

On these photos she is not as skinny as before but she looks totally beautiful. I like her better with some weight. Her beauty is magnified.

But not here. I can’t believe it. There are news that she was required to gain weight for a new TV show.

Could be the Champion

If the UP Pep Squad didn't win yesterday, the FEU Cheering Squad deserves the trophy. I must admit that as I watched the group perform, I had goosebumps. The stunts were incredibly difficult to execute but lacked the precision that the UP Pep Squad showed. The costume, props and music were well-coordinated. I think that the performance lacked dance routines which is the essence of the competition. Take note of the  audience's wild roars with each high-flying acrobatic act.

Love to Lather

During our stay in Milflores de Boracay we had complimentary soaps and shampoo bar on our washroom. Mind you these are not the usual small hotel soaps.

Don’t you just love the artsy packaging?

The shampoo bar lathers nicely but leaves my hair quite dry so I really need to follow up with a conditioner. The peppermint soap is so cool on the skin. You’ll surely step out of the shower feeling really clean and fresh.
