I am not really a fan of white sauce pasta but after my brother B introduced this Xtremely Xpresso carbonara, I have learned to like it. The sauce is light and not too creamy. It's simply cooked with crispy bacon bits which add a little salty taste to the dish.
My J's mom L cooked carbonara for us one time but instead of bacon, she used Spam slices. So delicious too!
How do you like your carbonara? Any 'secret recipes' you'd like to share with us?

The bread looks so yummy. :P I don't like white sauce to be too creamy as it's nakakasawa. I prefer it light but still has a little creaminess in it. Weird as it may sound, I cook my carbonara dry. :)

Love carbonara! Any cream sauce, actually. Well, I couldn't decide between a cream sauce and a tomato sauce... and I've decided that my favourite is a creamy tomato sauce hehe :-)
