Fog and Food

While we waited for our lunch in Tagaytay, we savored the magnificent view of Taal Lake and Volcano. It was drizzling the whole morning and thick fogs almost covered the scenery but nonetheless, the setting was very calming and refreshing. The cool breeze caressed my skin and kissed my hair. I shivered lightly but it felt so good. How I wish we have this in Makati!

A feast of sumptuous Filipino food awaited us at Josephine’s, one of the well-known restaurants in Tagaytay.

I want to show you a few shots of the place first.

And on our table.

Overall, the food is superb and service is fast. The service staff is attentive and courteous. The restaurant overlooks Taal Lake and the ambiance inside is warm and inviting and classy at the same time. It was a Friday noon and yet the restaurant was full. I thought to myself, how many more guests come here during weekends and holidays?

Have you dined at Josephine’s? Did you like the food? How was your experience?

I forgot the name of the resto we went to in Tagaytay the last time. I love eating there. The cool air lets me enjoy my bulalo in comfort.
